Tried & True Beef Stew

1 pound beef stew meat
1/4 cup flour
1 Tbsp. paprika
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups beef broth
1 1/2 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
1 chopped onion
3 sliced carrots
2 cubed potatoes
1/2 pound mushroom, chopped
2 cloves chopped garlic (powered is fine)
1 bay leaf

Place stew meat, flour, paprika, salt, and pepper in a gallon sized freezer bag. Shake till meat is coated. Pour entire contents of the bag into your crock pot. Stir in beef broth, teriyaki sauce, veggies, garlic, and bay leaf. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf before serving.

TIP: I hate cleaning my crock pot. I buy crock pot liner bags. They can be found in the same place you buy ziplocs or steam bags. If you don't have a crock pot liner, coat the pot with olive oil before adding ingredients to cut done on clean up.

Happy Cooking!
